What is Cartomancy?
Similar to the Tarot, Cartomancy is the practice of divining the future using playing cards by a cartomancer. Cartomancy was popularized in 14th century Europe shortly after the introduction to playing cards. For a cartomancer, the deck contains 52 cards broken down into four suits- clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds with 12 court cards. Each card is assigned it's own symbolic meaning which can be used for prophetic purposes.
